Hello, my name is Riley Zebroski. Golf is and has been a very important part of my life. I have been playing competitive golf starting at age ten. I am currently a junior at Watertown High School in South Dakota. I began playing varsity golf my 7th grade year and have been on the team since. I am currently the number one golfer for my team and I aspire to become a better golfer each year I play for the team. The 2020-2021 golf season I placed 9th in the state tournament at Bakker Crossing shooting a two-day total of 159 (78-81).
Beginning the 2020-2021 season, I was invited to join a club golf team called Team 605. I am coached by Sam Vosler through Sanford Power Golf Academy and am going on my second year of being part of this team. I played in some higher-level tournaments through the team and had some harder competition, placing top 15 in the Midwest Junior Classic, Midwest Junior Championship, and the Sanford Futures golf tournament my sophmore year.
Golf has also impacted me in the classroom. I had to learn how to manage time and find a balance among my family, friends, responsibilities and hobbies. Between working, school, and golfing year-round, I still find time to be outside at the lake and having fun with friends. I am a very dedicated student and I work hard on all my classes. I have an unweighted GPA of 3.89. I am taking AP classes as well as dual-credit classes to get some college generals out of the way.
I appreciate your time reading a little bit more into me!
