While my journey in competitive golf has been relatively short, my intensity and commitment are very strong. My academic achievements demonstrate that whatever I set my mind to, I have the work ethic to reach my potential. As a reflection of my commitment to golf, in November 2021, with the support of my coaches, I made the very difficult decision to transition from being a Varsity basketball player to a mentor on the team. With my singular athletic focus on golf, I am confident in my goal to be a consistent low 70’s or better player. To achieve this goal, I recognize that I need to participate in tournaments on more challenging courses with stronger fields. In the last few months, I have played in the desert, learned how to play in a snowsuit, adapted to ocean winds, and experienced the pressure and excitement of being in the final pairing at a major National Invitational. I love tournament play and meeting new people. I am passionate about my education also and want to achieve high-level success in academics as well. I believe leadership, service, and positive character on and off the course is the key to being a good teammate, and I would be honored to have an opportunity to play collegiate golf.
