Hi, my name is Lilli Kate and I am a senior at Cherokee High School.  I started playing golf (taking lessons) two years ago in January of 2021.  My first season at CHS, my low round was a 44, which I was very proud of! I actually qualified for the regional tournament, so I was happy about that. My sophomore-junior summer I played in about 12 Sneds tournaments. The highlight of my summer season was during a tournament at Link Hills in Greeneville, TN, I got a Hole-in-One on a 243yd Par 4! I won that tournament with my all-time low round so far, a 79! This past fall, my junior season, I was the medalist in 7 of the 12 matches we played with a low round of 42.  My season average was a 45. I qualified for the regional tournament again where I placed T9 of 27 girls.

 Academically, I take all honors classes and have a 3.95 GPA.  I also take dual-enrollment classes to get a jump start on my college career.  I plan on majoring in accounting. I’m a very active member of my church youth group and I am also a 4th year member of Heritage Lites, which is a youth volunteer organization. Other activities I enjoy is hanging out with my friends and traveling.  I have worked at Starbucks for over a year now and I also work at McDonald Hills Golf Course. 

I am very dedicated to improving my golf skills and am on the range or course every chance I get. One of my favorite things about playing golf is the friendships I make. I am a team player and always strive to do and be the best I can be.  I have grown to love this game in the short time I've been playing and would love the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
