My name is Emily Palmer. I am an extremely goal oriented High School Junior with aspirations to play collegiate golf at a Texas college while studying business. I will be a great asset to any team as demonstrated by my work ethic, How many Juniors in High School can provide employment references from a 3 year employer? I can. I have worked part/full time every summer since the 8th grade for Buck Valley Ranch in Center Point, TX where I am trusted to care for baby deer from 1 day old to the time they are weaned.
In addition to my regular summer job, I work side jobs to earn extra money. My experience with FFA and 4-H projects has developed my business skills. My parents have a Flea Market. I buy and resale items to make a profit with my money.
I am a member of River Hill Country Club where I often mentor younger golfers. My leadership skills are superior to my classmates. I have played on successful volleyball teams but as a freshman, I decided to focus strictly on golf. I was 19th in State competition my freshman year and 6th my sophmore year. I am looking forward to winning this year.
