Ariel Chavana '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been apart the varsity golf team all three years of my high school career. Two of these years I have qualified for the regionals tournament where I shot in the 80's both years. I enjoy helping others improve their golfing skills therefore I have been named captain of the girls golf team at my school. On the weekends I assist in helping a private coach with inexperienced golfers at a three hour camp. At my church I volunteer when ever I can by helping with raising money for our parish. During the summer and Winter time I also volunteer at my local food bank. I distribute collection bins so that canned goods can easily be donated to the needy. As of the ending of my junior year I have obtained a 97 GPA. I have been enrolled in six college classes where I have received A's in all of them. This year I chosen from a select few in my high school to attend a weekend Rotary Youth Leadership Camp. Throughout my high school years I have been able to maintain a well balanced schedule between golfing and academics and I would like the opportunity of continuing this into my college years.
