Personal Statement
I began my interest in golf at age 7 going out to the course with my Dad who played weekly. He encouraged me to pursue the sport and soon I was taking lessons at Golftec in Houston. At the age of 9 I began playing in USKids and STPGA local regional and state events. I have played in over 60 tournaments since then winning or placing in the top three in over 80% of the events.
I lead my High School Varsity team as a Freshman with a best tournament score of 79 to a second place finish in our 6A District 2-day tournament. I also was awarded a regional qualifier position for 2019.
I have now completed my Sophomore year that has been affected heavily by Covid-19 as it has many athletes across the world restricting my opportunity to train, play and compete week to week.
The pandemic has taught me to not take things for granted and I've continued to train, play and improve my game as much as possible even with the Covid challenges.
In late May I was able to re-engage my training with my two PGA instructors and I am working daily and weekly on body conditioning, strength, and increased focus on short game, putting and course management.
My ultimate goal is to play college golf at the highest level and study law to gain a law degree while being a team player of a golf team at an outstanding university!
