Personal Statement
Ever since I started playing golf, I have aspired to play college-level. I picked up the sport quickly and because I'm easily coachable, I have been able to lower my scores over just the 4 years I have been playing. Although I haven't played as long as other girls, I am proud to say I can hit my drives farther than most, my longest drive is 320 yards. My short game has dramatically improved in just a short time with me working on pitch shots and ones closer to the greens. In the classroom, I study hard to increase my class rank and maintain a high GPA while also setting an example for our National Honors Society. I am competitive and know that college athletics is difficult to get into and that it is a privilege to get the chance. I strive to become better every day in the game of golf and push myself to lower my scores and improve my game.
