Alexandra Delgado '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach,

 I still remember the day my father gifted me my first set of golf clubs for Christmas, I was six years old. Since I was thirteen, I've been part of Eisman Golf Academy.  At that age, I began playing competitively in local tournaments and was part of the 1757 All-Stars Junior League team. In 2016, my team and I took Virginia to the PGA Junior League Mid Atlantic Regionals where we placed second in the four-team event with a 2-1 record. Over the years I have played multiple tournaments such as the Peggy Kirk Bell Tours, Hurricane, MAPGA, VSGA, and AJGA tours. In 2018, I won the PKBT Northern Virginia Championship. However, my most gratifying accomplishment was winning the Northern 4A Zone qualifier in 2017 and 2018 and taking Oakton to the Virginia High School Women’s State-Open for three consecutive years. 

I am fortunate to be part of the amazing Oakton High School Varsity Golf team, where I have built life-long friendships with my teammates, competitors, and my coaches. Growing up playing multiple sports such as golf and volleyball, I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership through being captain of the golf team three out of my four years at Oakton and captain of my volleyball club team for two years. I am looking for a program that will embrace my energetic and goofy personality while also supporting my passion to study forensic science. I know that I not only have the skills to play at the collegiate level, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make a positive impact on your team!
