Upcoming 2014 Summer Schedule
I’ve known the game of golf since I could hold a club however I did not start playing at a competitive level until I was about 11. At 11 I was introduced to the Washington Junior Golf Association, a state wide friendly junior league which helps teach sportsmanship along with the opportunity to showcase individual skills. At 12 I I qualified for state in the WJGA league, making the first cut and eventually catching 6th place. Moving into my freshman year of High school I was the only girl on our school golf team but I held my own placing 8th at the Washington State1A tournament. My sophomore year although I had better rounds during the actual season, (Not shooting over 89) it fell apart during my state performance where I placed at 15th. Even though golf is a huge priority in my life, I am also very involved in extracurricular activities and community events! I am a member of my High Schools National Honor Society; I also am a “Big sister” in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization connected with my High School. Up until my junior year I played on my High Schools Varsity soccer team, as well as year round select and recreational soccer, which I decided to take off this year to focus more on school and my golf. In the classroom I work hard and have maintained a 3.3 Cumulative GPA and am still working to improve that.
