Leighton Didier '26 Recruiting Profile

I chose gymnastics at 5 years old when I made team. Then something amazing happened! Gymnastics chose me too! It has been a part of my life for 11 years and is my first love. Life lessons are truly taught in the gym from the ground up. Leadership, perseverance, sacrifice, dedication, and as we say in Texas, true grit. I have learned to never give up. The fails make you stronger. The achievements are the consistency and determination you had to get through the fails. My dreams and goals have always been to compete at the highest level.  I have continued to achieve my dreams and goals through the support of my parents and amazing coaches each step of the way. To represent the college of my choice will be the cherry on top the marathon road I have been on. I know that once beyond the gym, what I have gained through this unexplainable process, is I am going to be a successful adult and leader, with high standards, that will build others up around me to do the same.
