Personal Statement
I have grown up in a very small town. Playing hockey was my gateway to many experiences, without out it I wouldn't have had many opportunities to travel. Because I valued theses chances to get out of my tiny town so much it gave me a huge appreciation for the game, but thats only what got me hooked. I have been playing hockey since I was 8 years old. We only had an outdoor rink so we practiced in the wind, in the snow and in -20 most the time it didn't matter because you were playing hockey. I have continued to play through high school and look forward to keeping the game apart of my life in the next phases.
