My collegiate goals and aspirations mainly consist of taking classes and participating in internships that will get me into medical school, where I can study to be a pediatrician. I am an incredibly hard worker, and I am well acquainted with balancing sports and school due to my experience as a high honor roll student and dual sport athlete- so playing on a college hockey team while excelling in school will not be a problem for me. Also, I have competed at the high school varsity level for volleyball as well as ice hockey, so I am athletically well rounded. I always aim to better myself, and because of this, I am extremely coach-able. I live in a rural community in Alaska, and this differentiates me from other athletes because it has taught me that I must challenge myself by pushing out of my comfort zone to achieve in academics, athletics, and life in general.
