I have been playing hockey in Glennallen Alaska since I was 8 years old. As a female hockey player I have played on co-ed teams the entire time. Living in a remote community, I have been on several different teams. This season I am playing on three hockey teams with my priority being my Valley Thunder Girls 16 U Tier II team. With the support of my family, I have been thankful for many of the opportunities I have been given the last few years. Hockey is my primary sport and my goal is to play college level hockey at a D1 school.
Outside of hockey I am involved in multiple sports which keeps me in shape. I have been involved in Track, Cross-Country, Basketball, Cheerleading, and Volleyball. In the summer I am also a commercial fisherwoman in Bristol Bay and have done that for the last two summers.
In addition to my good grades, I have a positive attitude and love being part of a team. I make friends quickly and can adapt to any team which is a quality not everyone has. I look forward to what my future opportunities are!
