I have been playing ice hockey in the position of goalie for nine years. I began playing at age 10. In my third season, I was the starting goalie for the Aspen Junior Hockey Girls U12 team when we won the state championships undefeated in our season. At age 14 I was personally asked to play as the only goalie for the Colorado Select Girls U14 AA team. We ended the season second in the state. That same year I played as starting goalie for the Aspen Junior Hockey Girls U14. We won the state championship tournament, finishing as the number one team. My freshman year of high school, age 15, I played as starting goalie for the Aspen Junior Hockey Girls U19 team. I have maintained that status four years straight. This past fall, 2016, I was selected as one of two goalies on the Roaring Fork Knights Boys Midget U18 fall season team. During the regular 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons I played for the Aspen High School Boys Junior Varsity team as well as the Aspen Junior Hockey Girls U19 team. As well this last year I held the position of starting goalie for the Aspen Junior Hockey U19AA team. These past two years I have practiced full time with two teams, maintaining approximately 14 hours of on ice training per week.
