People are sometimes surprised that a quiet and artistic bookworm has such a passion for the ice. I am unwaveringly focused and push myself to be the best I possibly can be, both in the classroom and in the net. I pride myself on this focus and drive, and the fact that I am fiercely loyal. I will stand behind my teammates and coaches and support them whenever and however I can.
Balancing such a hefty academic schedule with serious commitment to hockey is bound to be a challenge for anyone, but it is a challenge which I have always appreciated. While my sports and studies are two very different parts of my life, they are both incredibly important to me and I enjoy the mental and physical challenges they both offer.
