Personal Statement
My name is Morgan Oglesby and I am a 16 year old, 5'5 defenseman. Over the past couple of years, I have gotten experience at varying levels of ice hockey. I have played on a Tier II boys team, a Tier II girls team, and a Tier I girls team. All of these different levels of hockey have given me the experience and skills to be the player I am today. I hope to play DIII in college at a good academic school. I would describe myself as a player and a person who is hardworking, reliable, intuitive, and tenacious. I have been told by many coaches that I am one of the smartest players on the ice when it comes to hockey sense and playmaking, I am reliable and always there own and off the ice when my teammates need me. Academically speaking, I am a very good, hard-working student. I go to a rigorous college preparatory school that pushes me to strive to be the best. Some of my hobbies other than ice hockey include golfing, playing softball, poetry, writing, and I am currently working on my Girl Scout Gold Award Project, the highest award you can earn as a Girl Scout.
