Personal Statement
Since I was little, I've always had a passion for being on the ice. I began ice-skating at an early age and soon after, expressed interest in hockey. By the age of 10, I was participating on a girls travel hockey team. Over the years, my dedication to hockey has taught me the importance of perseverance, time management, and commitment to not only my team, but my education. Currently, I am a full-time student in high school, work part-time, and participate on a travel hockey team. I believe, one of the many characteristics that set me apart from other athletes is that I'm extremely conscientious of showing up and always giving my best whether it is on the ice or in the classroom. I pride myself on my solid grades, along with my performance on the ice. My ultimate goal is to pursue my dream of playing college hockey, while obtaining a solid collegiate education in the medical field.
