2021 U16 National...Personal Statement
My name is Sydney Romal and I truly love playing goalie. I started playing hockey as a Peewee in the fall of 2015, and I soon found that I was drawn to the competitiveness of it all. I love the camaraderie that forms with my teammates as we work together to grow and develop throughout the season. I'm also truly grateful for the bonds that I have created with other goalies at clinics and camps. My college goal is to excel academically while playing highly competitive college hockey.

- Directing the camp will again be our Women’s Director, Sanya Sandahl. She has been coaching for over a decade and brings a one of a kind coaching brand to the program. Regional Development Camps are the anchor to a goaltender’s off-season development needs. This 5 day camp provides the biggest impact on goaltender performance in a short period of time. Our camp is very intense as goaltenders will conduct on ice skill development sessions and position specific movement sessions, fitness development sessions, comprehensive evaluation reports, a lecture series, awards, and much more.

- The 617 PIP Showcase brings together elite talent with the highest level of NCAA coaching available in girls' summer hockey! Taking place in Boston, MA, the setting is perfect for a hockey-cation, with off-ice time spent visiting the many sights around Boston and the New England Seaport areas, creating a Premier Ice Prospects experience! As an individual sign-up event, the 617 PIP Showcase allows for girls to be placed onto teams with other elite players, all having the opportunity to be instructed by the different NCAA coaches.
