Ashley Llanes '22 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches, 

I would be a suitable candidate for any team because of my work ethic, leadership qualities, and ability to take on responsibility and communicate with others. For the past few years, coaches have depended on me to lead my team through examples of what I do and set a standard for what they want to see out of the team. I have also been given the responsibility of communicating things between my team and coach. I regularly send out information that my coach shares with me back to my teammates, and on some occasions, I am selected by my teammates to talk with our coach about any concerns we have. My love and passion for the game grow every day, pushing me to work harder to be successful. I am willing to do whatever it takes to improve my team because, after all, the goal is to strive as a team instead of striving as one person. If you need me at forward, I will play as a forward, and if you need me at defense, I will play defense. I will put in all the work that is necessary so that our team can succeed. It has not been easy getting to where I am today. I have had to push myself harder and put in more work to get to the level I am at now. Throughout my hockey experience, I have learned that nothing will come easy to me in life, and I know that I always need to put hard work and dedication into everything that I do. I want to be a part of a successful team that can do great things, and having me on a team could get you one step closer to achieving that goal.
