Hi, My name is Brooke Siebert, and I am from a suburb outside of Chicago. I have been playing hockey since I was 2 and I have always loved it. I am completely devoted to it. I have been playing in the NIHL league for the past 6 years, since u10. Now, as a u19, I am currently (as of December 2019) a junior in high school and in in all advanced classes and I have a 4.2/4.0 gpa weighted
I am able to play hockey whenever I have grades over B+'s. Therefore, all my middle school years, I have had very good grades. I take great pride in hockey as well in my education. I want to stay in my high classes and earn a scholarship to a great school. There hasen't been a year that I haven't been in advanced classes. When I am not challenged, I don't feel right. Academics to me are the absolute most important thing in my life besides my family. I don't know where I would be without them.
I can play all positions on the ice, but I mostly play Defense. I shoot right and I am a starter for my club based in Addison, IL. Over my season of August-March, I had 19 goals and 25 assists.
As of December 14th 2019, I have totaled 5 goals and 9 assists on my current team
I am very interested in medical surgery or research (anesthesia neurology, pathology etc.) as well as business management. I participated in summer enrichment camps out of Northwestern University for the past 6 years. I have been in advanced classes since 5th grade . I went to a catholic school, in which the grading was a 7 point scale. That pushed me to become better in my academics.
I do additional cross fit training as well as my original weekly team training. It was the right decision. I am very devoted to health, and being the best I can be.
After my years at catholic school, I want to continue my service work. I participate in key club at my high school, which can help me get into National Honor Society.
I hope to find a school that has a fulfilling academic and sports team balance
