Ever since I started playing ice hockey 9 years ago, I knew that hockey would become a favorite sport of mine. I started playing hockey with my friends at a local rink. I really love going to practice every day and being with my teammates. Hockey also gives me the chance to try new things and excel in many ways. It is truly a great sport and I love to play whenever I get the chance. My team and teammates are very important to me. Some of my best friends are my fellow hockey players. I always try to work my hardest at everything I do and try to lead my team to perform in the most positive manner. I am very coachable and a great listener. I enjoy new drills during practices that will hopefully result in improving our overall team play. Academically for me, I always do my best and try my hardest, in and out of school. My high school academic goals is to push myself, but make sure I stay balanced between school and sports. When I first started hockey with my friends, I was not as experienced and this was a challenge for me. I always wanted to be a better player and to be able to play at a more competitive level. Along the way of my hockey career there have been multiple obstacles that have challenged me or pushed me to work harder, but this never stopped me from playing hockey.
