Volunteer Firefighter with the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Department. Scheduled of Emergency Medical Response training in October, 2024. Goal is to become a commercial pilot.
As a goaltender, my journey in hockey has been defined by resilience, dedication, and an unyielding commitment to both individual improvement and team success. From my early beginnings as a player inspired by the Washington Capitals' Stanley Cup victory in 2018, to leading Arundel High School's hockey team to the State championship games, and competing in prestigious tournaments like the 2023 Chowder Cup with the Roc City Elite AAA hockey team, every moment on the ice has shaped me into the athlete I am today.
Affectionately known as "The Wall" by my teammates, I take immense pride in my ability to stand strong under pressure, to defy the odds, and to push beyond limits. One of my most memorable experiences was facing off against Brick Hockey, where despite being outshot nearly three to one, we emerged victorious in a sudden death overtime shootout. It's moments like these that fuel my passion for the game and underscore the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and unwavering determination.
Off the ice, I am equally driven and multifaceted. Since elementary school, I've immersed myself in the world of programming, creating games and properties within the Metaverse. This passion for technology has steered my academic pursuits, as I aspire to major in Computer Science, blending my love for innovation with practical skills that extend beyond the rink.
Balancing athletics and academics has always been second nature to me. Throughout my high school career, I've juggled varsity responsibilities as a goalie, defenseman, and wing, showcasing adaptability, versatility, and a willingness to embrace new challenges. Currently, I proudly represent both the Frederick Freeze and Arundel High School, embodying the values of sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication both on and off the ice.
Beyond hockey and technology, I find fulfillment in serving my community as a volunteer firefighter for the Lutherville Fire Department. This commitment to helping others, coupled with my proficiency in languages such as Russian, reflects my belief in the power of empathy, communication, and cultural understanding to bridge divides and foster unity.
Looking ahead, my aspirations are as ambitious as they are grounded in purpose. While the dream of playing Division I hockey drives me to excel, my ultimate goal is to find a team that embodies the same spirit of camaraderie, support, and collective growth that has defined my journey thus far. Whether on the ice, behind a computer screen, or in service to others, I am determined to leave an indelible mark, inspiring those around me to reach higher, strive further, and never settle for anything less than their best.
In addition to my pursuits in hockey, technology, and community service, I am also fueled by a passion for aviation and the boundless freedom of the skies. With aspirations to become a commercial pilot, I have taken to the air, completing 20 hours of flight time as I work towards obtaining my private pilot license. Each moment spent in the cockpit is a testament to my dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to mastering the art and science of flight. From navigating through clouds to feeling the exhilarating rush of takeoff and landing, every experience ignites my sense of wonder and reinforces my determination to soar to new heights both literally and figuratively. As I embark on this thrilling journey towards achieving my aviation dreams, I am excited for the adventures that await and the opportunity to turn my passion for flying into a lifelong career.
in the spring of 2024 I became a volunteer firefighter for the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Department.
