Personal Statement

My name is Sasha Marino and I’ve always believed that I would be heading off to college someday. Throughout my life, my parents have encouraged me to be curious and hungry for learning. Not only do I have a strong interest in academics, I have an even stronger interest in playing NCAA sports and in competing. Specifically, both hockey (#1) and softball (#2). This passion pushes me in the direction of being a valuable candidate for any team. My athletic experience, personality, and growth mindset solidify me being a great teammate and it helps me stand out from other recruits. I pride myself on working hard to achieve success while remaining humble, inclusive, and humorous.  I aspire to consistently balance a healthy, happy, and well-rounded life. This gives me the ability to be part of a team that pushes each other toward a greater result as a whole.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
