Through out my life I tried many different sports and activities, such as figure skating, gymnastics, dance, etc.. I decided at the age of 8 that figure skating wasn't for me and I wanted to play hockey instead.
I was extremely lucky to have some amazing coaches when first starting hockey. They were great role models and their daily motto was “Work Hard and Have Fun". It’s something that I continue to take to heart and apply to my life on and off the ice. As a very competitive person, trying to be my best in everything I do, hockey allows me to push myself while allowing me to be a part of a team working toward the same goals.
Approaching my Senior year in high school, my goals are to continue to play hockey, play varsity field hockey and maintain a strong GPA! My junior year I added DECA as an extra curricular activities and won our district in both Marketing and Business categories. My future goal is to continue playing Women’s Hockey while obtaining a degree in Business Management.
