Hello, my name is Sloane Herrera, I m a 5'3" 140lb defenseman and I graduated from Okemos High School this year. I started my love of hockey when I was only three years old. When I first started playing I played with boys and started playing with girls once I hit U12 when I switched to play AAA hockey for Compuware. During my first year at Compuware, I continued to grow and succeed as a player, once I hit U14 I started to play for a AA team in Ann Arbor where I got stronger and eventually came back to the AAA level and play for Meijer U16.
During my off-season, I stay in shape by playing golf in the fall and lacrosse in the spring. During the summer I train with athletes at the collegiate level as well as my teammates and we skate four times a week every week.
