Chaniel Nelson '12 Recruiting Profile

Chaniel Nelson- 5'7", 135 lbs. I play forward, left, right wing, and center, shoot right. I am fast and aggresive, I work hard on and off the ice to be the best athelete I can be. I play hard every shift, and give all I have on the ice, never giving up on a play. I am a team player, and always display good sportsmanship. I get along well and work well with others, I am a leader, and have been voted MVP my sophomore year, and am a 3 year letter award winner and 2 year varsity starter. I led my senior class in points, and 2nd overall in points earned for 2011. I received the all conference award for 2011, was selected for the Northern Minnesota High School All Star game,the Hockeytown USA All Star Game, and will be representing my section in the Senior Classic Tournament. I want to play college hockey! I feel that I have some of my best years of hockey in front of me, and I am a very coachable athelete. I am currently playing for the Colorado Select 19UAAA team. I joined this team on 10/29/11. I want to go to school anywhere that I can continue to play, I am open to any type of school in any area. My desired major is business, which I have noticed is offered at almost every school. My athletic goals are to play college hockey at the highest competion level possible for myself. I feel that I have the ability to compete at any level and will do anything to achieve that goal. As an athelete I will work as hard as anyone to play up to the expectations and beyond of the team, and coaches.
