Personal Statement
I have been playing hockey sense I was 4 years old. I have never loved something the way I love hockey. When I was little I played boys hockey and loved how competitive it was and how everything was always a battle. Ever sense I have been playing hockey I have always looked up to the older girls on the high school team, and now that I am a captain I can't wait to be a leader for the younger girls. I have always thought that leading by example is the best way to lead. Pushing the girls to their full potential while having fun.
In school my favorite subject is Biology. I learn better in a hands on environment, and I love learning about animals, plants, and how everything works. I want to become, a wild life veterinarian. I volunteer at the Wild Life Rehabilitation Center in Roseville Minnesota, working there has been a great experience for me and I hope to continue on there as an intern through college.
Ever sense I was little I have pushed myself to get to the next level. I have played with several D1 players at Irondale and understand the commitment it will take to succeed. In college I want to be in the most competitive atmosphere possible. Hockey is my favorite thing in the world and I would love to continue playing into college.
