Personal Statement
One of my biggest collegiate goals is to play for a college women's hockey team. I aspire to be a great hockey player and teammate while taking my game to the next level. Academically, I plan to get my Bachelor’s degree and possibly go on to get a Master’s in Sports Psychology.
I would be a great addition to a team because of my hard work ethics, good leadership qualities and dedication. I am a team player that gets along well with others. I have a strong locker room presence, and an uplifting attitude, always lending support to my teammates. On the ice I am a very offensive minded defensive player and one of the fastest skaters. I have good hockey sense and understand the game while constantly trying to improve.
Being from Minnesota I was practically born with skates on my feet. Through the years, my love and passion for the game has grown to point that it has become a part of who I am. Attending camps at the University of Minnesota, I have had the opportunity to play with and against some of the best players in the state, along with women’s Gopher hockey players.
Academically I also strive to be on top of my game, working very hard to receive good grades. I have always been the top of my class and on the honor roll for my entire school career. I am often involved in school activities and a member of the National Honor Society.
I aspire to be the best in everything I do and hope to be part of your team in 2018.
