My Freshmen and Sophomore years I have grown and learned so much. On May 1st, 2016 was when I tore my first ACL in my right knee. Then I had surgery and eleven months later I was back out there. Unfortunately, I tore my other ACL and Meniscus in my left knee in my Sophomore year. It was my first Varsity Soccer game of the season. These obstacles that I have overcome taught me many things. I have learned that being positive is a very important key to the game of hockey and in everyday life. Also, I have learned how much I love hockey. I didn't really know it was my passion until it was taken away from me. Since I have been hurt the past two years I have had to take up a new role as a manager which, has shown me many leadership qualities on and off the ice. I am eager to get back on the ice and hope to continue my athletic career in college.
I have worked very hard to get back to my sports and I am currently paying Varsity Soccer and Hockey for Minnesota High School Elite League.
Besides sports, I also love helping out others and I am excited to be going to Tanzania this spring on a missionary trip. We will be volunteering our time to build schools, houses, and churches around the area. I also really enjoy music and I play bass in my school's Varsity Orchestra.
In the future, I would like to play at an elite level and continue to grow in my abilities. I would also like to go to a school that fits me academically because that is one of my top priorities. I think I would be a great asset to anyone's team because I will bring positivity, I have a great work ethic, I am coachable, and dedicated to a sport I love.
