Personal Statement
I have been playing hockey since I was 10. Started out as a goalie for a couple years, then once I made my way on the ice as a skater, I was at home. I am a natural defender and an extremely hard worker both on and off the ice. I am a multiple sport athlete, and have dreams of continuing to play at the collegiate level.
I currently will be playing a split season Midget Boys Team, and a Girls U19 Travel Team this coming season. During this time, I will also be playing soccer for my high school as well.
My freshman year of High School, I was a starter for our team. It was one of the best experiences of my life. All the girls played hard, looked out for each other and we became a family. I was given the award of Defensive Player of the Year. It is something I will treasure forever. I need to work even harder this upcoming season in hopes of helping our team make it to the playoffs.
