Ever since I was 5, hockey has played a huge role in my life. Starting on a boys mites team, all the way to where I am now, playing hockey at Brewster Academy, has given me many years of experience and time to fall more in love with the sport itself. As a defensive minded hockey player, my strengths are knowing my role on the ice in various situations during the game, which I believe is due to my strong knowledge of the game. I am a player who has played in many different defensive systems and understands the importance of each in certain circumstances. My passion for hockey is not only important to me when looking for colleges, but so are the academics. I have been taught the importance of education throughout my whole life and wish to attend a strong academic school in which I can graduate with an appropriate degree for my desired profession. For me, being able to receive a valuable college education while playing collegiate level hockey, would be a dream come true.
