Hello, my name is Michaeline Anderson. My college aspirations include studying mechanical engineering and continuing to play hockey. I am hard-working and dependable, both in school and on the ice. On the academic side I've maintained an above 95 average throughout all of high school. I’m currently taking honors Math and Science courses and an AP Computer Science course. I plan to build on these strengths to study to become an engineer. I also wish to continue hockey. I love hockey with my whole heart. I started playing when I was 6, and I was hooked immediately, much to the surprise of my family as no one else in my family has ever played. I worked my way up playing with boys from squirt C level to bantam A, and then earned a spot on a tier 1 U16 girls team. I believe my strengths are setting up my teammates to score and a strong back-check on defense. I am also in my second year working as an official. Everyday I look forward to the upcoming possibility of playing. I see any chance to hit the ice as a blessing and try to make the most of it. I am willing to play at any level in college, just so I can have the opportunity. Hockey is everything to me so I'll take any chance to play.
