Personal Statement
I aspire to make clinical/medical advancements in the future, by attaining a college degree while simultaneously playing college hockey.
This past year my mother battled breast cancer. Her adversity through chemotherapy and the pandemic has sparked my interest in researching cancer preventive drugs, which can be made possible through a degree in chemisty.
My passion for hockey had lead me to become a strong, dedicated, and diligent player. I hope to continue playing the sport throughout college, and plan to work hard to achieve my goal.
This past year I have maintained a 3.9 GPA, and are 14th ranked in my class. Additionally, I became a USA official ice hockey referee. I plan to excel in my classes and athletics in the future.
