Personal Statement
The last 6 years of playing competitive hockey has convinced me that hockey is my passion, my sport, and my future. I have had to work harder than many of the other girls in hockey due to my late start yet I have achieved the goals I set. As a result I appreciate the results even more. Playing on the starting line of both my high school and travel teams and signing with the top Tier 1 travel team in Buffalo this year were goals of mine and I have achieved them. I am a very competitive and driven person with a track record of meeting my goals. My objective in high school is to obtain a 4.0 GPA and gain as many college credits as possible. I currently have a 3.9/4.0 GPA and 3 college credits out of a possible 17 with 2 years to go.
My target for college is to study Criminal Justice/Law at a top accredited school with a proven, established hockey program, preferably Division III. Obtaining a 4.0, graduating within 4 years, and winning a championship are all among my college goals.
I firmly believe that in addition to my natural talent as a hockey player and my strong academic standing that I bring leadership, loyalty, work ethic, and team dedication that will benefit any hockey program.
