Ever since I started playing hockey, I knew I wanted to play in college. I believe I am a good recruit because I can learn and adapt quickly, I work very hard, and I am a good student and team player. I am able to learn, understand, and react to new plays and ideas quickly. I am also very versatile in the way that I can play and adapt to new positions and linemates well. When I am faced with a problematic situation, I always try my hardest to come up with a solution. While in school I work very hard in and out of class (just like for hockey, I work hard on and off the ice) to earn the highest grades possible all while balancing hockey and other activities. As a captain of my team, I am an unselfish leader. I play my hardest, lead by example, and encourage my teammates. I am always open to learning new things, and to improve more on my skill. I believe I am a good recruit because of my abilities to adapt, learn, work hard, and be a great teammate as well as a leader. I am a team player who will do whatever it takes to win, whether it be scoring goals, making plays, or playing solid defense.
