Hanna Stefik '23 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, my goal has always been to play hockey at an academically challenging school. I am a strong defence man who understands what it means to be a part of a team. Previous coaches have described me as a very coachable and skilled hockey player with strong hockey sense. I always work my hardest on and off the ice for myself, and my team. I have strong defensive skills as a playmaker. I am a good communicator who isn’t afraid to take on leadership roles.

I attend a private school in Toronto, Crestwood Preparatory College, where I’m currently maintaining a 97% average. I play representative hockey for the Whitby Jr. Wolves. I am very devoted to my school work as I enjoy learning and being in the school environment. I am also a part of many extra-curricular clubs (athletic council, YARRD, peer tutoring) and teams at school (varsity hockey team, basketball, volleyball, soccer). 

I am looking forward to playing hockey at higher levels in the future, as a student. This will allow me to continue to challenge myself.
