State gamePersonal Statement
I have been playing hockey since I was five. At the age of eight I moved up to JV because our girls program was so low in numbers for players. I learned to play competitive hockey at a young age. I played right wing and a little bit of goalie and decided to start playing goalie full time my freshman year. I am a two sport athlete which has helped me learn leadership and teamwork. I have also enjoyed mentoring the younger kids and helping them learn how to play goalie. I've always wanted to play college hockey. I want a college where I can be challenged to grow athletically and academically.
