I started playing lacrosse in second grade, and spent a total of six years playing primarily attack. Prior to my sophomore season in high school I transitioned to goalie and started and played goalie the entire season. While playing in goal was new to me, my prior experience as an attacker was helpful in the transition to goalie. I have made significant progress and enjoy playing goalie, and I intend to remain in goal. I have continued playing goalie this summer with Mad Dog San Diego. While I may be relatively new to playing Goalie, I really enjoy the position and helping lead the defense in plays, and being a leader to the defense players. While I am competitive, I have learned to be optimistic during games, which leads me to have a better mindset and make more saves. I hope to bring this positive mindset to whatever team that I play on. In academics I am very passionate about math and science. I have been on my school's mathematics team and club, and I am the rising president of the team, and have taken many AP and Honors math and science classes.
