My collegiate goals are very similar to my goals in life: I want to make a difference and strive to become better at everything I do. I'm very competitive and I love the feeling of using my competition to become a better athlete while making my opponent a better athlete. I love to run and workout and push myself to be the best I can be. I grew up when my mom was fresh out of racing bikes professionally, so I got to see first-hand what it takes to bring your body to the highest level physically, but also mentally. I fell in love with the game of lacrosse because it's every sport I've ever played combined into one, but it's also fast and very team oriented. I want to inspire not only little girls, but older girls to become more in tune with their bodies, become more active and fall in love with competition and the game of lacrosse. As a team captain, I bring my teammates up and always look for an opportunity to make them better. Outside of the classroom I want to become a better, faster and stronger athlete, but the same standards apply to me inside the classroom. I've played almost every sport my town offers growing up, and it's taught me a lot about who I want to be as an athlete but also as a role model. I can't think of one game or race that I finished without a smile on my face, and spreading that same positive attitude to others is what drives me as an athlete. As a collegiate athlete I strive to be the best student, player, teammate, sister, opponent, and role model I can be.
