Hope Alani '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Hope Alani. 

I am motivated and desire to play lacrosse at the college level.  I love playing lacrosse and I work hard at improving my game.  I enjoyed being coached in my position and I am always open to being taught and improved upon in technique, footwork, and speed of stick.  I currently desire to get a degree in music, and I am an avid piano player and singer.  As compared to other goalies, I am very vocal with my defense, and I will take charge and position them; direct them on the field, lead them to give us the best opportunity to stop shots and protect the goal. As a goalie, I have learned to play through adversity. I have been on teams that have played well, and many others, that have not.  Through that, I have learned to always keep my head in the game and to never quit, even when things are not going my way.  I am always a learner and will be a good teammate and student of the game on a team.
