Lacrosse has been and is an influential part of my life. It has helped me build my leadership and teamwork skills, whilst maturing my mentality. When I first started playing lacrosse I immediately took interest in the sport. At first it was just a hobby, but it quickly became a huge part of my life becoming something I want to pursue in the future. A big inspiration in my life is my Caribbean and South American culture. There is not much diversity in lacrosse and I want to be an inspiration for young lacrosse players that look like me. I have put a lot of work and effort into lacrosse, and I believe that my determination makes me a good candidate for a team. I have poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this sport (quite literally); it is one of my biggest passions and motivations in life. I want to have the opportunity to grow in lacrosse and meet new people. My determination, persistence, passion, social skills, time management (maintaining a 4.0 GPA while doing sports and my art hobbies) and attentiveness make me a good candidate for your team; given an opportunity I’d love to prove it. Taking my love for sports I would like to pursue a career in sports marketing. I have always had an interest in marketing and business, I am in the Entrepreneurship Program at Brookwood High School. I want the chance to make all my goals, dreams, and aspirations true and lacrosse is one of those dreams.
