I believe I have the skills and the dedication to play lacrosse at the collegiate level while maintaining high academic standards. I began playing lacrosse in the 7th grade, throughout this process, I have had success as a teammate and as a player. As a freshman and a sophomore, I was a starter on the high school varsity team and helped my team win the Indiana Girls Lacrosse High School State Championship. I was the only freshman selected to the All-Tournament Team. Following the 2018 high school lacrosse season, I was selected and participated on the Midwest Under Armour All-American Team (2021, 2022) in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, I was selected to be on the Circle City U18 National Team. As a sophomore, I led my team in points, goals draw controls, and ground balls. In addition to this, I was named to the All-Tournament Team, 1st Team All-Sectional, 1st Team All-Region, and 1st Team All-State.
I am currently a junior at Carmel High School and have balanced my academics with my extracurricular activities and have maintained a cumulative 4.45 out of a 4.0 and have challenged myself by taking AP classes and Honors classes in order to prepare myself for a collegiate career. In addition to lacrosse, I enjoy participating in the performing arts. I play the saxophone in Wind Symphony I and Jazz Band. I received the highest award with distinction in the Indiana State School Music Association annual competition.
Along with high school varsity sports, I am involved in my community. I was selected to and graduated from the Central Indiana United Way Youth Leadership Program and currently serve as a student board member on the Green Teen Council, focusing on key environmental issues impacting our community. I am also deeply involved with my church, serving as a youth group leader for 6th grade girls.
I feel I am a well-rounded and highly motivated and disciplined individual. I enjoy being involved in a variety of different activities that challenge both my social and academic strengths.
