Lacrosse has been my passion for the past six years. I began playing for my school in the 5th grade, and immediately fell in love with the sport. That same year, I began playing club lacrosse year round. My freshman year I made my school's varsity team, and earned a starting spot through a lot of hard work. This past season, my sophomore year, I was selected to the Kentucky National Team, 1st Team All-State, and was selected to play in the Kentucky varsity All-Star game. While playing year round lacrosse, I also play field hockey and participate on my school's swim team. While I have a love for athletics, I'm also deeply invested in my academics. While maintaining an above average GPA, I have joined several extracurricular clubs, and even started my own club, the Hispanic club. Throughout the past six years my character has grown immensely. I have become a more determined, self-disciplined individual and have learned the important value of teamwork. Since the seventh grade I have wanted to play at the collegiate level to further my lacrosse skills and overall athletic ability, as well as to learn important life lessons that will prepare me for my future.
