Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse since the age of six and have a strong passion and lacrosse IQ. I am an active and positive team member on my Mass Elite Club team. I have finished in first place and second place in numerous tournaments. I played on the Hanover Varsity lacrosse team as a freshman where I played attack and was a valuable contributor and player to my team. I played in all games as a freshman. I was awarded player of the game by my coach on two occasions. Our team placed first in the Fisher Division Conference and competed in the Division 2 South Sectional finals. I am an effective player in all positions of the game. In the fall, I play field hockey as a midfielder on Varsity and have played since Freshman year. I also value training throughout the year. I participate in strength and conditioning, speed coaching, lacrosse hybrid skills and nutrition with Shea Training and I participate in fall/winter lacrosse leagues along with preseason training sessions with AchieveLax.
Also, I value education and consider what I do both on and off the field a major influence on my future. I have taken all honors classes throughout high school and balance my school and athletics well. I am currently taking AP Biology along with all my honors classes. I have been an elected representative of my class for all years. I value working with others and being a positive influence to everyone around me on and off the field. I work supporting the special education students in partnership for PE and Art. I received academic excellence awards for US History and online learning for the 2019-2020 school year.
