Personal Statement
The summer before my freshmen year my family moved to a new school district. The first couple months were a little bit of a bumpy road not knowing anybody and having a school system that is different from the one which I came from. The switch pushed me to open up and take chances. For the past 11 years prior to that switch, I had played soccer, but my freshmen year of high school I decided I wanted to try lacrosse. I started my first season learning the sport and ended it finishing varsity games as the backup goalie. This past season, sophomore year, I was the starting varsity goalie and won multiple athletic and student athlete awards. I have grown to love the sport and my team and want to carry this passion on through college. I work hard both on the field and in the classroom to improve my abilities as an athlete and as a student. By the time I graduate high school, I intend to have obtained a full ib diploma as well as many more athletic achievements. In college, I want to major in International Relations or Political Sciences with a minor in foreign language. I am looking to become an intelligence analyst with the FBI.
