Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse since the 5th grade. Since then, I have found a passion and deep love for the sport. I have committed most of my time aside from school work to improve on my skills and lacrosse IQ. I love cutting and slashing to goal and hustling on the re-defend. I have learned integrity from my parents and coaches, and have found that integrity will help you go hit wall ball or just workout in general. I have made it one of my biggest priorities to work on having integrity and showing it every practice and every game, because to me having this skill is what makes a good teammate. Teamwork is also a big thing I strive for. I try my best to be the best teammate I can be. If that’s helping someone, being encouraging, or just being there for them when they make a mistake, because mistakes are inevitable. The sport of lacrosse has ultimately helped me to create these morals, and push me to be my best self. I hope to continue learning from lacrosse and advancing my skills within the game. I hope to continue this learning and love of the game in college!
