I am primarily a defender, who also plays midfield well when called on. I am characterized as an athlete who brings certain special qualities on and off the field. I'm a play maker who works to set up and support my teammates and friends.
In college I would like to be an independent, hard working student, and have fun while living the college experience. Playing lacrosse would allow me to continue my love for the game, stay active, and be challenged physically and mentally. It will help my personal journey in learning from important life lessons.
I am unselfish/ a team player and I put in 100%. I look out for my teammates and always try to encourage instead of speak negatively. My lacrosse (and soccer) coaches rate me as one of their smartest and most coachable players. I see the field well and have a good sense of where the play is going. I’ve been told they feel good about putting me in any position on the field if needed. I think this is why I was backer for my club team.
I think I'm different because I am naturally curious and a quick learner. I usually only need to be told or shown once. I'm always seeking to improve when new opportunities are presented. I have been through several very difficult life challenges. In each instance, I have worked through and overcome the hardship. I believe the strength and insight I've gained from these events has enabled me to be a more committed player on the field, curious student in the classroom, empathetic towards my teammates and friends
