Personal Statement
I enjoy art history and cultural studies. I know that I would like to attend a strong academic college and play a high level of lacrosse. I attend IMG Academy in Florida and maintain a rigorous schedule as a student and lacrosse player daily from 7:30 am to 10pm with frequent travel to games.
I am confident in my stick skills, field of vision and lacrosse IQ. I believe that my strong footwork and hand eye coordination from tennis have helped me in lacrosse. When I was 10 years old I accepted an invitation from the John McEnroe Academy's Rising Star program. I played USTA junior tennis matches from 12 to 14 years old.
I attended the Horace Mann School in the Bronx, NYC until June 2020. I attended Horace Mann since I was 3 years old. The school is an Ivy League Preparatory school and nationally ranked.
In addition I have volunteered at Harlem Lacrosse assisting Brittain Altomare, former Hofstra all-time leading scorer and All-American at attack, teaching lacrosse to inner city students. Harlem Lacrosse's amazing program provides inner city students with an opportunity to learn a sport not necessarily offered.
