I have been playing lacrosse for eight years, seven of which I have been playing goalie. My coach and others say that I have fast hands. I have helped my school robotics team to two record breaking seasons for our school, maintain a position of principle cellist in the high school ensemble, and participate in the school debate program. Since kindergarten I have attended the Nightingale-Bamford School, an all girls school in New York City. I have had a lengthy commute for a number of years which has taught me time management skills as well as planning and scheduling. I hope to work in government or public policy. In the spring of my junior year I was able to attend a semester away with the School for Ethics and Global Leadership in conjunction with the African Leadership Academy in South Africa.
