For as long as I can remember, lacrosse has been an important part of my life. I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade for our local youth program and then continued on to play for my school level teams. In 8th grade I was selected to be the starting goalie for the JV High School team. Then this most recent 2020 season, I made the High School Varsity team as a Sophomore, but unfortunately with Covid-19 we did not have a season. In addition to this, I have also been the starting goalie for the ADK 2022 elite team with responsibility for playing most games with the 2021 team as well for the past 4 years.
Even though Covid-19 has been a challenge this year, I still have put the time in to make myself a stronger player. For example, I participated in several one on one virtual clinics with Liz Hogan to get individualized feedback from games tapes on how to improve myself. I also attended several virtual group clinics that provided goalie drills to keep our skills sharp during the Spring when we were unable to play with our teams. I am a committed, coachable, and high achieving team player with a strong lax IQ and team mentality. I am always looking for ways to improve both mentally and physically. Every time I put my stick in my hand I am always determined to improve and be the best I can be. I am a Junior in High School and plan to attend a high-level academic program in college while playing my favorite sport, lacrosse. I am a dedicated hard worker and try to reach all the goals that I set myself. My work ethic is noted that I have maintained high honor roll status every quarter since 6th grade.
